The instructions are intended to ease severe muscle stiffness and not for relaxation. Video No.14 of the series demonstrates how to self-massage the iliopsoas muscles that attach to the lumbar spine (L1 – L5) and the pelvis. Since they are deep muscles, advanced skills are required.
